The Vail Breakaways bared it all for charity with their contribution to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund's Vail Undressed 2003 calendar. The Vail Valley Charitable Fund (VVCF) is a philanthropic organization helping individuals who live and work in the Vail Valley who have critical financial need due to medical catastrophes, accidents, or long-term illness. The VVCF has helped many working people who don't qualify for other types of aid. Founded in 1996 as a non-profit organization, the VVCF has provided cash grants and fundraiser proceeds totaling $1,000,000 to assist more than fifty local individuals and families. The VVCF provides one-time direct aid grants to applicants and serves as a platform for fundraising events when the financial need is greater than a direct-aid grant can address.
